A non-hydrocarbon naturally organic based solvent, our Bartoline Turpentine Substitute can be used for a wide variety of cleaning purposes which as brush cleaning, paintbrush cleaning, and many other decorating necessities.

Particularly favoured by artists for use with oil-based paints as a cleaner and thinner, its is often used over white spirits, however it is unfortunately not suitable for thinning solvent-based paint as the drying time of the paint may be affected as a result.

Bartoline Turps are available in a 750ml, 2L & 4L sized bottle. This high quality organic solvent has been manufactured from the distillate which is extruded from pine trees and may also be used to remove dirt, wax, and grease from surfaces before painting.
